Let me introduce myself; my name is Ann. I have been in accounts and tax for more years than I care to admit to. I have worked for high profile, household name, international corporations until just over two years ago.
I have specialised in VAT & Customs issues for the last 20 years of my working life. Part of my duties in all of my employments was to train the AP, AR and Finance staff to the level required for them to be a greater asset to the business and hence make them more employable.
I jumped ship in 2009 and have been contracted to a charity where part of my role was to enlighten the volunteers about the intracasies of VAT. I enjoyed this task and my aim is now to pass onto bookkeepers my practical experience in the form of workshops.
I'm looking forward ot interacting with the forum.
You'll regret telling us that your an expert in customs issues! (this is cropping up repeatedly at the moment).
good to have you on board,
kind regards,
Shaun.
