I am considering starting the AAT qualification and have been reviewing some older posts about the possibly loop hole re the need for a training provider.
Is there any updated information / feedback on this issue - can you register with a provider for just one paper for example, and then sneak through the rest of the exams with self study without paying a full training course fee?
I would ideally like to go the AAT route as it keeps options open re employment (even though self-employment is also an aim), and also leads to exemptions for CIMA. I understand that if I also wanted to sit the ICB exams at some point along the way, the ICB offer some exemptions for AAT qualifieds.
But going back to question number one, do we know the truth yet?
