Excel Spreadsheet Template

Good Evening All

I have just taken on my first client  and he would prefer his books done in Excel. Does anyone know where I can get a good Excel Spreadsheet Template from? I tried to get him to try VT Cashbook but he wants to see it via Google Docs whilst I am on it too  and from what I can see I don't think we can use VT that way.

Any pointers/ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Carrie

This sounds like a bit of a nightmare. The last thing I'd want is a client poking about my work while I'm trying to do it. Especially is they have the ability to mess around with things. If he want access why not suggest a proper online bookkeeping system? At least you can control the access he has with them.

Hi Carrie

I have a very simple excel template you can use if you want, you can log your income and expenditure and get a summary of our cost verses your income that you can keep online for your client to see. let me have your email and I will send it to you.

Hi Kris/Alfred

I quite agree although his copy on Google Docs can be read only I understand. I did suggest Online Software  and it is my aim to get him onto some , but until then  I think I need to gain his trust a bit and then hopefully I can get him to change!

Thank you Alfred, I appreciate that, my email is carrie@cc-bookkeeping.co.uk.

Kind regards

Carrie
