Quickbooks part-payment help?
Permalink Closed

Hi all

Not sure if this is the place to post but I'll give it a go!

I'm new to QB and I need help! (Not a good start!)

My client pays a bill 2 ways - part credit card and part bank a/c  - on different dates. Does anyone know how to process this on QB?

Many thanks if you can help!

Pinks x

Go to Pay Bill and enter the amount paid by the cr card in the end column then choose cr card as the bank account to pay from
this will leave the balance still outstanding in the Pay Bills. When the balance is paid choose bank account for the remaining balance.

Or the other way around if he pays from the bank first.

Hope that is understandable.

Sheila
