Milage allowances

Just a brief question, Im just working out how much my allowance is and how much i can claim back.

I have now calculated this and it seems since i've started in June, that i can claim over £450 in fuel working about to about £100 (ish) a month. I dont even put this amount of fuel in the car every month! hmm As its a Hybrid car it doesn't use much fuel (bonus for me) but this will mean i will 'spend' more on fuel than I will earn for the time being!

Is this right?

The mileage allowance is to cover for all motoring expenses not just fuel - repairs, insurance etc.

Well that sounds a bit better then! lol

So it pays to have a Hybrid then... £20 Road Tax a year and then this for mileage. :D

Its not really money to claim back it just means i wont make much profit due to these fuel expenses, is that right?
