Credit Cards - Cashback awards - does this go under Misc Income?

Companies House - Annual Fee for Online Filing is £15.00 does this go into Prepayments?

Now in trouble with the Suspense as a £12.92 Cr (right hand side column of Nom Ledger) - had £12.00 Late payment charge on my credit card and £2.92 interest which I put into bank charges and bank interest paid confuse

Hi Redlady

1) Cash Back - You could put it there

2) Filing fee -  I would leave it as an expense in the year it was paid. It is a fees that is incured to update CH records, so applies to the current year, not the previous or future. and will not be that material.

3) CC charges - I suspect you should have posted it to a bank payment not the supsense, assuming you have paid it. If not it will sit on the credit card account, as a creditor. DR Bank charges CR C Card/ or Creditors, when it is paid DR C Card/ or Creditors CR Bank

HTH

Bill

PS there are usually several ways to post accounts, and someone else may suggest a different approach
