ltd company accounts to be filed after being dormant

Hi all, I have a ltd co which was previously dormant, this will be the first active accounts. When filling ch accounts do I need to tick that this is the co 1st set of accounts?. Unsure as it is the first live accounts but not the first accounts as such!!!

No, you shouldn't tick the box because (as you said) it's not the first accounting period of the company.  The balance sheet comparatives have to show the figures per the prior year dormant accounts.
