I am new to the forum, and just though I'd say hello and introduce myself.
I have been in accountancy and worked in practice for over three years now, AAT qualified and am now looking to take the plunge into self employment, doing both bookkeeping and year end accounts/tax returns.
I wondered if any of you could give me any advice as to where/how to attract clients, I am based in the Yorkshire area, and currently work in Sheffield.
Welcome to the forum, 47 views and not one hello is what led me to throwing my dummy out of the pram so it should only be right I am the first to welcome you. I am sure you will find the forum interesting, friendly and even thought provoking. Be good if we knew your name?
Was in the Peaks last weekend and couldn't help thinking if there was demand in those lovely outlyinig villages. You'll find loads of maketing ideas and discussions using the 'Search' button above; often, but not always, in the Professional sub-section.
Welcome. Here's one of the most recent marketing thread. There are loads of them though. Sometimes I think we should have a definitive marketing thread.
Thanks for the replies and sorry my name is Josh, I will take a look at those marketing threads and hopefully get some ideas together so that I can progress.
like Frauke I'm not around anywhere near as much as normal so appologies for the delay in the welcome.
All the best,
Shaun.
