Has anyone out there ever tried to file a return using QBO. Am trying to for the first time, but keeps producing the report on a cash basis rather than a accrual. Have tried changing the preferences but nothing seems to work!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hey there, you need to change it under company preferences....and under VAT settings.... go to the VAT tab... Settings....then change it... should work.

If under the Vat Settings its in Accruals already, then go to company preferences/Settings.... find the 'reporting in' heading or similar and switch it to Accruals....

Cheers
