When in doubt i always dress smart/casual and take a bag with me, I.D., business cards if you have them, any info you have recieved on the seminar and notebook/pens/pencils, and just the usual stuff you may carry about your person.

Hi

Not been to an IAB one, but in my experience siminars are usually a smart-casual affair. Some attendents dress up (suit + tie etc) , I usually wear a shirt and smart trousers. The one's I've been to have never stipulated an actual dress code though.

There's normally a range of exhibiters relating to the profession, software providers, PII providers etc who you can have a chat to - normally very informal with no hard sell.

This is normally followed by the main event, presentations, updates, lot's of power point slides, speakers etc.

I'd take a clip board/writing pad for taking notes. Obvioulsy if you have an iPad this is ideal.

Have fun! smile

Hi

I am going to the seminar tomorrow perhaps we will meet there?

I would get dress smart and have a writing pad to take notes.

This seminar is a first for me as well so I am really looking forward to it!
