My client offered that he is willing to pay for a subcontractor's course,would it be tax deductable expense? I don't think it would, but I thought I ask you guys just in case.

Particillarly as it will benefit the subcontractors business. I understood that training that introduces new skills was only deductible if it was for an employee.
I raise this as a point of discussion, not as a disagreement with what you have said.
good morning, I am not sure on this one for the reason of employment law and the "are you employed or self employed" - if you are offering to pay a subcontractor for training, are they treating you as an employee - surely as you are the one being trained this should be yr expense on your own expenses.
