Hi Guys,

You probably have already seen this but a couple of weeks ago the ICB put videos up on its website for the awards of Bookkeeping Student of the year and Bookkeeping Practice of the year.

I know a few of them are on this forum.

You can watch them here: http://www.bookkeepers.org.uk/

Well done to everyone nominated and congratulations again to the winners!

Hi James

Great pics and video of the winners and nominees, and fantastic event, even came across a few pics of me on the ICB website which confirm I am turning into a Toby Jug lol

One award for us this time around, all 3 next time (he said with a wry smile) and why not a course advisor of the year award? The amount of students I have converted to the ICB I should be knighted lol and I can only but look at the luca, or steal Angela's when she is not looking lol.

All joking aside James it really was a great event and the ICB are and will become a force to be reckoned with, and to be fair Garry your Dad really is the unsung hero of the ICB, and while the ICB have been handing out awards for excellence I dont think he has even been mentioned, so as I have dubbed today Brown Nose Wednesday Garry Carter deserves a huge pat on the back for turning an idea into a reality resulting in the ICB becoming the largest Bookkeeping organisation in the world, and is still growing. Incredible.

Dave

Had a good look through the photos, and they're a great reminder of a great couple of days. Feedback from the last conference was good, but our own students have not been shy with their appreciation of what was on offer this time round. I reiterate Dave's congrats to all at ICB. Dave, Why stop at brown nose Wednesday. There was enough there for Thursday & Friday as well. I like your style. Kind regards Brian

Hello James/Brian

Oh no Brian I am very sorry but I never put all my brown noses in one basket, I need some left for the next awards bash.

Have to say Brian it was really nice meeting you and look forward to next year, will you dare to don the kilt?
