From whose perspective: the charity or donator?

ps: Charity VAT is a mare of a subject.

No charity clients myself but for a general understanding of the tax implications from both sides of the fence refer to these links :

There are plenty of other links on the charity commission website but the above are a good start.

Have to ask, Why are your messages always so short? Are you writing them on a phone? I think that you are not getting many replies due to the impersonal nature of the requests which is a shame as you come up with some very good questions which a lot of people who visit the site could benefit from longer discussion threads in relation to.
