Hi, I wonder if someone could help me with what is probably an easy query!
I use Sage Instant Accounts to keep the books for my company - I'm a bit new to all of this but muddling through -we do have an accountant who can clear up any mess I make, but I don't want to keep bombarding her with questions.
We have had a very small refund from HMRC (only £1.55) of interest owing to us from last year's accounting period. I'm not sure how I go about logging this on Sage. Can anyone help please?
Also, as I think I need a bit more knowledge I want to complete a bookkeeping qualification - is there one in particular that I should go for? There seem so many when I search online. I would like to do some general self-employed bookkeeping work in future, and would like to have the right credentials to show my clients.

You could post it as a bank receipt to the 'interest receivable' nominal code.
