Very good Rob, my house is empty in the day as the kids are at sch and hubby is at work so mine is vey quiet until they come home from sch.

It is nice working from home, I too am upstairs in the spare bedroom, I do get disturbed sometimes if I work in the evening but its not too bad. Like you say the appointments with kids at doctors, orthodontist, christmas plays etc, at least their is flexibility with working form home. I get to see all their things that they are doing!

Hi Rob,

I couldn't agree with you more. In August my youngest starts nursery for half the day and my eldest starts primary (he's really too wee, I want to keep him) so I will have mornings and afternoons to work. Currently my partner and I share childcare, she works in the mornings and I work afternoons. You're right though, it's great to see the kids grow. Previously I worked 4 days on 4 off and never really saw or spoke to my family much during the 4 on.

Keep going with the blogs, I wish I had the inspiration to do one.

Kris
