Freelancer Purchasing on Amazon

I have recently purchased some stationery on amazon.com for my freelance purposes and I have received Order Summary, which include details such as my address, name of the item and price, but does not include VAT information.

Do I need proper VAT invoice for my future Self Assessment purposes or Order Summary is efficient in this case.

As a freelancer I am not registered for VAT.

Any advice appreciated.

If you're not VAT registered you don't need to worry about a VAT invoice. Just put the Gross amount (the biggest amount) through as the cost.
