Hi Muhammad,

results of APR calcualtions may vary by loan provider based on how payments are treated (coming off the debt immediately or defered) but in general terms the APR calcualtion will be the same no matter where in the world you calculate it (for example, if Barclays calculate an APR in the UK, South Africa, or India the rates may be different but the underlying calculation module used by their systems will be the same).

As you're part qualified ACCA best to refer you to the study materials. This is covered in paper F9 (old paper 2.4) and was the subject of an exam question in December 2005 (Q4) which will be available in the past papers archive.

kind regards,

Shaun.

Don't take this the wrong way Shaun but your head must be the same size in real life as your avatars lol.

Hiya matey,

it was Norris McWhirter. Remember watching Roy Castle and the McWhirter twins on the box as a nipper.

Strange to think that all three of them are dead now yet it didn't seem that long ago that they were on TV... Oh, now you've made me morbid.

Thanks Shaun,

Can not believe that you still remember I am part qualified. I will go through the F9 book. That would help.

Thank You again
