Sage Transaction Email
Permalink Closed

Hi, My client uses Sage Line 50 and there are 3 licences. I'm trying to make a correction and do a backup, but it's saying Sage Transaction is logged on Sage_T-email. No one else is logged on and I can't figure out how I can possibly log off this Sage Transaction Email (which isn't used anyway!)

Help gratefully received.

Thanks

Sorry, slightly long answer but have just checked this question with Sage as it happened many years ago and I couldnt remember.
Looks like T-mail has been opened at some point and not closed down correctly, so the program thinks that its still logged in. To resolve the issue there is a file held in the data directory that holds who is logged into the data and if you where to delete that then the message will disappear.

Before you delete the file make sure everyone is logged out of that data, then browse to the data directory (if not sure what this is you can find in within Help > About > System Information > Directories > Data Directory)
Within the Accdata folder there is a file called QUEUE.DTA > Delete this file (The file automatically recreates itself the next time Sage Accounts is opened).
When you reopen Sage accounts we would then recommend to check the data within File > Maintenance > Check data

That's great, thanks Donna. I shall give it a go when I'm there on Monday.
