HELP! Excel formula driving me up the wall...

Hi everyone

 

I need a formula to multiply a figure by 85% then add on 20%.

 

I have the first half which is as follows:

=A1*85/100

 

How do I then add 20%?

 

It's probably so simple but i've given up - probably over analysing and i'm no genius with Excel no

=(a1*.85)+(a1*.85*.2)
