Hi everyone, I am having my first client for the VAT and I need to registr him online. His activity will be import-export clothes, food and other things. My question is as main activity what I should pich from the list? Can be wholesale retailer ? Thank you for the help

Hi Ana,

I try to pick the closest match to what my client does - as nine times out of ten, their actual trade is not listed - and even when it is, it's impossible to find the right category.

I persoanlly tink that HMRC could simplify the list of trades provided as it can be a real pig.
