End of year adjustment on depreciation

Hi Guys

 

How do you adjust end of year depreciation on sage.

Do you use journals or do you just add it to the relevnt N/C?

I know manually you

DB Depreciation expense

CR Accumuated Depreciation by the same amount

Ghis,

 

Yes, you'd be better creating a Journal within Sage to carry out this procedure as this will help to ensure that there are no typos and your debit entry matches your credit entry. Remember, CR the 00 range of codes, and debit the 8000 range.
