Whats the value of the ipad? I'm assuming it's purely for business purposes. Are you using sage? If so then I've put staff christmas party it in the 7800's before now, making sure I didn't go over the limit allowed. If your ipad is worth a few bob then you can capitalise it (00xx),  computer equipment.

I am in the process of completing my next vat return.....  Could anyone advise me on the following nominal codes;

Hi, thanks for the answers....

 

The Ipad was £585 and strictly for business (don't have anytime to play games!), I have posted it to 0030, I had a guess?

 

I have set a new nominal at 7408 in entertainment?

What do you think?

Looks good to me, just remember to read up on the rulings for staff parties and I reckon your good to go.
