Switching off the activated Accountant Link!
Permalink Closed

I activated the Accountant Link on my Sage Instant Accounts Plus to send data over to my accountant for correction/inspection.  I thought it would be a useful thing to do.  However, my accountant decided not to work this way and called in to see me.  He is not going to return data for me to import to complete the Accountant link wizard.

Now that I have set it in motion, I cannot find a way to stop the process!  It is 'recording' everything, asks me if I want to log each material change to the dataset etc!

Please can you help!  I just want to switch it off and vow never to use it again!

Hi Karen,

To stop recording material changes go to the View menu on the Sage toolbar and click on Material Changes. In the window that appears click on the Material Changes tab and then click on Cancel. It will ask you if you wish to stop recording material changes and you click on yes.

Hope this helps!

Pauline

Thank you so much Pauline!  Even my visiting accountant did not know how to switch that off!
