Hi folks,

I have a meeting with a new client tomorrow morning.  He is making a 450 mile trip to deliver his paperwork and complete some forms.

It just started me thinking, how far from you is your furthest client?

Kris

My furthest client is in Dublin and my closest is the hairdressers next door to my office.

288 miles. I have two clients in Edinburgh although both for process automation using Excel Macro's rather than accountancy services.

Furthest bookkeeping client is 181 miles but that's for someone who regularly travels to my area. I accept everything via email which is confirmed with the original documents when he pops in.

Mines in Germany, he used to live in England and started his company here but when he moved he wanted to keep me on, we work though skype, phone and emails all his transactions are entered on one of my automated spreadsheets and he sends them down by email which I then produce the trial balance, reconcile the banks with his bank csv exports.

Do I win he he

Nope sorry Alfred, As the OP doesn't mention anything about the client having to be bookkeeping related, and most of my clients are on a different planet, I win.

That was easy.

Neil.

Manchester, so about 230 miles away. All work done remotely for them though.
