Sage Payroll not printint P45 ??
Permalink Closed

Hi - I'm trying to P45 a Leaver in Sage 50 Payroll.  He's been paid in April but his date of leaving is 5 April.  I have selected him (and him alone) from  the list of employees, and using the Leaver Wizard selected Part1a and Print but I get 'Report Designer was unable to generate report and tells me there was no data'.

I'm missing something really obvious here - could anyone tell me what it is please?

Thanks

Leaving date of 5th April is in last tax year so Sage won't print the P45. Change date to 6th April and it should be ok.

Thanks Sue, I came to that conclusion and tried the 6th (and several dates after that) and it still wouldn't work. I logged out and back in and went with the date I ran the payroll ie the 25th. To be honest, I don't think the ex employee will worry too much, it said Tax Month 1 so the YTD figs were right. Thanks anyway.
