QB - comparison reports

Go to reports menu on the toolbar and go to company and financial and the P & L reports are in there.

Mine is an old version and I don't know what the newer versions are like.

In QB, are you able to view comparisons in the reports

e.g. actual P&L for current year vs last year?

I can get the normal report, but would like a comparison for the prior year - ideally to columns, which will allow you to make direct comparison line by line

Can you not export it to excel, this year and last year seperately and then just a quick copy and paste to build your own report?

Yes, I guess that can be done - I was just trying to explore whether QB has this functionality as this would be alot faster

You can do it on my QB, I'm on Pro 2008.

Its in the Company and Financial, go to P & L and then look down the list and it has P & L comparisons and brings up a report and list everything and evens gives a % as well.
