Anyone use Qype?
Permalink Closed

Signed up for a free account on Qype.co.uk last week, and suprise suprise had a Qype rep phone me up today with a 'special' reduced price if I sign up for a premium listing.

I've never used or even come across Qype until last week (maybe thats my answer), but the rep said they're growing rapidly and will become the new Yellow pages.

It's actually not that expensive for a 3 month stint, but as I don't have an unlimited marketing budget I'm not sure whether it's worth the money.

Anyone on here had any success with Qype?

John

Was watching Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares USA a few weeks ago and Qype was mentioned. Appeared as though a restaurant was receiving a lot of bad reviews from customers on the Qype website.

I got the impression from the show that it was a quite a influential website over the pond. Never really come across it over here.

Hi John

I've used Qype a couple of times to look at a potential clients listings, but never used it enough to warrant advertising on the site.

I use Qype.co.uk for takeaways and eating out as they quite often have some good voucher deals on the site.
