You do realise that a sniper rifle and 39 bullets wouldn't set you back anywhere near £250k don't you? (or even £2.5k!!!).
Just thinking outside the box there if you felt that you needed to improve your odds at all

Just thought I would share my good news with my fellow BKN members. I have won a place on the Ladbrokes Poker Team of 40 players where one of which could win life changing money, my first tourney is in Nottingham on Saturday with a prize fund of £50K, all games funded by Ladbrokes. Check out the link and wish me luck guys, I think I will need it.
I can only wish you luck if you are not risking any of your own money to win as I am pretty much provisional wing anti gambling,
however, on a personal basis I wish you luck in pretty much whatever you choose to do.
kindest regards,
Shaun.

Thank you for your kind words, no my friend it is not costing me a penny, all being funded the 40 players become 14 players in June, 8 in July and 4 in August with a champion being crowned, I think the final tourney in London has a prize fund of £250 K so it is a chance of life changing money for a working class person such as I, and besides gets me out lol. Thanks Again Shaun.

Lol Shaun, I was thinking of a .22 Semi Automatic. I dont hold much hope as I have seen the profiles of the other 39 team members and there are some seasoned players one of which won 9 in a row, another won 62k last Monday. Funny but all the top players had decent jobs prior to turning pro, accountancts, doctors, you name it, so I doubt a mere course advisor from Brum will cut much slack lol
I'm a big TV poker fan, terrible player and very, very jealous of you!
Best of luck Dave, keep us informed of how you get on!
Will do Stuart, playing DTD rooms Nottingham this Saturday, I believe it will be streamed live as I have been told I will be interviewed when I get there and me with a face for radio lol
Well I crashed out after 5 hours, which was not too bad for my first ever live game and went out to bad luck as opposed to bad play, should anyone like to read my blog of the days events please use the link below
Hello one and all, just to let you know that I have made the final 14 of the Ladbrokes Poker comp and still in with a chance of a 10k sponsership prize. Any interested parties please feel free to read my blog, it has a bit of humour as well.
