Once you have started posted transactions for a year then unfortunately you cant change the year end.

Two options

1.  If your new year end is before the current one on SAGE just post up to then and then do a year end close down and change to the correct year end for the second year.  If your year end is after your year end on SAGE do posting up to the year end of SAGE, do the year end close down, change the year end to the correct year and then do postings up to then.  For the period you are reporting on you will have to add together both closing TBs or do a transactional TB from the start to end.

2. Start again with the correct year end.

Will depend on how far into the years postings you are but even if not far probably best to do the first option.

Regards

MarkS

Not strictly true that you can't change it. Someone with a Client Manager version could change it for you providing they're not on a higher version than you. Back up, Restore into their Sage, change the year end date, restore it back. Simples
