Online software for Flat Rate Scheme
Permalink Closed

Happy friday all,

One of my clients who has used Sage 50 for years has decided that they would like to embrace the new online software revolution and switch to a cloud based system. I'm not a big fan myself but it's their decision.

They would like to stay with Sage and have had a trial on Sage One. The only drawback is that it does not currently support the Flat Rate Scheme for VAT which they now use. The client could easily produce a report of all sales in a particular period and multiply by the relevant % to work around this.

Has anybody got an opinion as to what the best cloud (online) bookkeeping software for completing VAT Returns on the Flat Rate Scheme may be.

Ben

With respect Ben, Sage one does support the flat rate scheme. Have a look under financial settings

Edit: I'm referring to the non-cash book version, dont know if you are

Yes it's the Sage One Cashbook version I was talking about.

Just been on the Sage One website and the Accounts version supports the Flat Rate Scheme, as you said, so i'll suggest my client looks at this.

Ben
