Trading in the UK on a post study visa

Hi,

I have a client who is trading in the UK on a post study visa.

Initally he was operating as a sole trader and recently (3 months ago) incorporated as a Ltd company.

The Nature of the business is: Online shop

What are tax implications for such a client?

I think the main one will be that the company will now be subject to corporation tax. They'll need to also do a closing set of sole-trader accounts and I guess there may be some goodwill on incorporation, so possible capital gains tax as well.
