Hi there

I'm based in the Republic of Ireland and looking to start training as an accountant/bookkeeper. I've looked at the AAT and ACCA but my dad's accountant is IIPA (Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants) qualified and suggested this route. It was quite a long time ago he qualified with them so wasn't too helpful in terms of the current exams etc. 

I appreciate this is a UK bookkeeprs forum but just wondering if anyone here has studied with the IIPA?

Hi,

I am an Accountant in practise I didn't complete my exams but I carried on working within the profession.

I went back to complete my exams two years ago I hope to qualify with The IIPA in August.

You can go onto the website www.iipa.ie or contact Cath on 00035312069000.

The offere a number of ways to study and various qualifications on the way to becomiong a fully qualified accountant.

I would have no hesitation in recommending  them for anyone interested in pursuing a career in accontancy.
