hi there - looking for some help regards NIC holiday, partnership started trading in december 2010, 2 partners both self employed - not VAT registered, they have taken on first employee June 2012, are they entitled to £5000 NIC holiday? i read it on hmrc as when taken on first employee or first 12 months trading whichever earlier meaning that trading 12 months would be up dec 2011 therefore not eligible? is that correct??
