Hello everyone...
I thought it would be nice to introduce myself so here goes :) My name is Ivy & I've recently set up my own bookkeeping practice after being made redundant from my part time job in accountancy practice! I'm part qualified ACCA & have just been accepted on to the AAT members in practice scheme!!
I've been reading the forum for a few months now & I've found it really interesting & useful - I'm looking forward to reading more in the future!!
Thank You - Ivy :)
Hello Iona and welcome aboard - and to the sometimes challenging/often fun world of the freelance bookkeeper!
Good on you, too, for taking the world on, after what was probably a pretty unwelcome dose of redundancy. As you've already seen, any one of the splendid members of this forum - none better anywhere so far as I can see - will always be happy to throw you a lifeline if you've got a query. Most of us have been where you are now!
welcome to the forum. Looking forwards to chatting in the coming months.
How far are you through your ACCA qualification?
Hi Andrew,
sorry about deleting your post earlier but I got rid of the whole thread. The poster was viral all over the internet with exactly the same post.

Hi Ivy (Iona !), I don't have as much time anymore to drop into this forum so I am on catch up. Hopefully you will visit and post more often until you get too busy.
Welcome to the very friendly BKN forum both Ivy and Smith. Hope you will get involved with the many topics on here and who knows make one or two friends along the way.
