Hello, 

 

I have just gained a client who is a self employed physiotherapist and for the last 2-3 years has been working within the armed forces as a contractor in Germany.  She has now returned to the UK but was away for the whole of 2011-2012.

 

She has asked me to do her book keeping and file her Self Assessment for 2011-2012.  

 

Am I correct in thinking that she is not liable for Income Tax as she has been abroard??
