Second self employment
Permalink Closed

Good morning.

A client called to see me this morning with her paperwork for her 2011/2012 SA Return.

She is self employed and runs a small shop on a part time basis, with income always below personal allowances.

However, due to low income she has also started a part time cleaning venture.

Despite this she will still  not earn more than her personal allowances.

Do I have to inform HMRC of this additional self employement, or is it acceptable to just include it on the SA return with an additional set of  self employement pages

Thank you

Jay

You don't have to inform HMRC, she's already registered as self employed.
