VT Taxcomp issue
Permalink Closed

Hi all,

just wondered if anyone who uses VT to do the tax computations had any advice on the fact that tax b/fwd seems to be missing? (Doesn't even seem to be so much as a note kept of it).

it's no biggy to work around outside VT just by keeping notes on the tax computations but that sort of defeats the object of a computerised package that is supposed to carry forwards data from year to year within itself.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so how have you worked around it?.... I'm suspecting that this may be one of the reasons why so many pair VT with the likes of taxcalc or BTC but for the little that the other packages add VT is so close to being a complete sollution in itself... Just as evidenced here not quite.

If anyone from VT is reading this, and my understanding of it being missing is correct (rather than my own stupidity) please add tax b/fwd to my wish list (along with a proper fixed asset registar).

kind regards,

Shaun.
