Bank Reconciliation using Sage

Hi I am new to sage and the forum.

I was doing by bank rec for the first month of my financial year and have added in all the entries. I thought i had everything as it should be and pressed reconcile.  However I now see that the last balance shows the wrong balance.  Can I recify this by adding another entry or is there another solution.  I haven't reconciled anything else.  Thanks in advance  Jonney

Hi Jonney

Once you have reconciled you cant go back and amend that month.

What you will need to do is identify what the difference is, adjust for this through your accounts, and when you do the next month you will be able to sort so your bank statement agrees to your SAGE balance.
