I want to move a credit balance from a customers account and move this to an 'internal clearing factoring bank account'

Is this possible?

Raise a dummy sales invoice and post to 9999.  This will clear the customer account.

Then raise a bank payment from the "internal clearing factoring bank account" to account 9999.

Postings will be

Dr Debtors     £x

Cr A/C 9999             £x

Dr A/C 9999  £x

Cr Factoring bank    £x

Regards

Mark
