Depends on the client, but I have clients that insist they need to include multi-currency transactions in their accounts and they either use Kashflow (cloud) or VT (PC ) based.
I know sage does it, but it was one of the reasons I always got rid of it - clients used to make a mess of it on sage!
Kashflow does have multi currency function in that you can process transactions and calculate the losses and gains. However it doesn't support foreign bank accounts.
If you need a foreign bank account Xero has this as part of the large subscription and reconciling couldn't be easier.
Hope that helps

I have just taken on a client who has bank accounts in 3 currencies and bills in Euros with all his expenses in Sterling. I have set it all up in Quickbooks after watching the 7 minute tutorial. It was quite easy and is all going well. First VAT return done with no hitches.
Just want to add that the E-conomic (where I work :)) handles multi-currency as well. You can also send and receive invoices in other currencies than your base currency, which might be useful if you're dealing with international customers? The software itself also comes in different languages and with local-language invoice templates, if that's relevant for you.
Anyway, there's a free trial that you can play around with. Let me know if you need more info or help.
