Over on Aweb they're having the annual competition for how many times the chancellor mentions tax in the budget (must be tax, not a variation on the word such as taxation or taxes).

You can win an I-pad from Taxcalc if you get it right but I suspect that the cost of entry is your number and email going into the marketing engine.
Personally I've not partaken of that since the drinking game during a Gordon Brown budget where you got a free drink from the kitty that you had to down immediately each time that your chosen word came up and I won big time with Prudence (ironic really saying as ol Gordon had no idea what the word meant!).
Good luck to anyone who decides to enter,
Shaun.

There's a similar game played while listening to Clyde SuperScoreboard every night at 6pm when Gordon Dalziel is on. You take a drink every time he says "I agree with you 100%". He even manages to say it to consecutive callers when the previous caller disagreed with the current caller.
The budgets are boring now as most of the things are known in advance with the Autumn statement.
