Online Agent Authorisation - CIS
Permalink Closed

Hi

Continuing my day of 'should be knowing the answer to this but don't'

I have a client who has just registered for CIS and he wants me to do the returns and I am just trying to do the online agent authorisation through the HMRC website, I thought that the Employers Reference and the Accounts Office Reference that have to be provided were the same as those for PAYE but I keep getting a Failed Auhtorisation.

Have I got it wrong or is it the HMRC system fault

Thanks for your help

Mark

To be honest, it would be quicker just to get 64-8 signed and sent off!

Hi Mark,
I think there must be problems with HMRC site at the moment, as I was experiencing similar problems last week. I'm going to try again tomorrow and see what happens.

Regards
Debbie
