Sage Instant V 14 in Windows 8
Permalink Closed

i am about to upgrade to windows 8 (no comments needed on this thanks!), and wonder if anyone knows if you can run Sage Instant Accounts v14.00.11.11 in compatability mode so it will work on that OS. I know it doesn't officially, but I resent having to pay out for a new version i don't otherwise need.

thanks

Roger

It depends, is your a 64 bit or 32bit version of windows? From about version 18 and before there will be compatibility issues with 64 bit versions of windows?

Hi Roger,

You should check with sage first but we've had a few students who have encountered problems with versions 2012 and before. As I understand it the only one that is safe is 2013.

Good luck.
