Directors Salary - RTI
Permalink Closed

Hi All,

I have very little involvement with payroll - in fact I only process the salary for one director.

The director concerned will be paying themselves £641pm  - above the LEL but not enough to trigger the requirment to pay NI or PAYE to HMRC. As I understand it because they are being paid above the LEL an FPS will need to be submitted to HMRC each time they are paid, however as they are not actually required to pay anything to HMRC each month (because of the amount they are paying themselves) does an EPS also have to be submitted to HMRC each time they are paid to cover this.

Any advice much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Richard

No, the FPS will show that there is no PAYE/NI liability so you don't also need to file an EPS.
