Using BKN...
Permalink Closed

Hello fellow BKN bods smile

Is there a setting on here that lets me set up notifications - for when people have posted on a thread I am involved in etc?

Also, what are the rules for using your website link? I assume that's a paid members thing, but wanted to double check?

TA!

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

When you reply to a post there is a check box which says "Email me whenever there is a new post to this topic", just tick that before clicking submit post and you'll be kept up to date.

Unlike other forums, this one seems to have had informal rules built up over time.  Have a look here: http://www.book-keepers.org.uk/f350476/forum-information-rules-news-suggestions-amp-updates/ but I dont recall ever seeing a specific rules post.

Kris

It isn't a paid members thing as I'm not a paid member. (I do intend at some point in getting round to paying). I think if it is your own website for bookkeeping then it will be ok to have it in your signature. They just don't like spammers coming on with their links that have nothing to do with bookkeeping.
