nothing personal with the short reply, sorry. I'm juggling a few things so skipping in and out of the site at the moment... which explains how someone posted 8 ads for their business today before I noticed them... I've left one of the ads with a comment and left their applications which are expecting job advertisers to contact them! Think that they may be waiting for some time there!!!.

No probs I'm the same - so much to do so little time................................... but it is nice to come on here for a break!
Are child tax credits mean't to be declared on the Self Assessment, sorry this is my first client who has received this and I don't know much about this bit.
Does Maternity Allowance need to be declared on the Self Assessment?.
thank you! - don't really deal with this type of income, but it would make sense for it not to be taxed as what would be the point in giving someone a benefit and then further deduct tax from it. Doesn't really make sense.

YW. Pity they don't always follow a common sense pattern such as with long-term Incapacity Benefit and looks like one would need detailed information re. EAS to be sure you're treating it correctly.
I wish they'd change the term 'tax credit'. It's not advancing any credit and nothing to do with any tax that I've heard of :o)
