I previously posted on this website and received loads of useful advice so thought I would return (Ps. in the meantime I have now passed AP1, AP2, and Indirect Tax for AAT level 3).
I am looking into the spreadsheet module with regards to work based evidence. I would have been happy to study and sit the exam but I use spreadsheets the majority of the time at work and the last time I had a chat with my supervisor she mentioned about completing it using work based evidence, hence cutting down on costs and the need to take a day of to travel to the exam location.
I seem to be struggling to find information so just wondering if anyone can help if they have done it this way, I have found you have 3 weeks to complete, but how do I go about choosing this route? Do I still need to pay a training provider? And what type of proof/assessment do they request?
Yes you will need a training provider as the AAT require WBE is assessed and reported to them by a qualified assessor from an approved assessment centre. It will depend on depth your work experience and if it covers the criteria.
The best way to figure this out is to have a chat to an assessor, feel free to contact me on 01469 515444 and I will transfer you to one of our experienced assessors for some free no obligation advice, this will help you decide which route is best for you.
