I use Dropbox but I don't pay for it? You get so much free. I ask clients to copy the appropriate folders back onto their hard drive, once I finished working on it, so that the information isn't floating about on the internet. Of course, I also advice that they take a back up.
its 2GB free and an additional 2GB for each person that you introduce up to 18GB.
I only use it on a transient basis so don't even need 2GB.
there is of course no guarantee that anything will be free forever and may be just getting people signed up before introducing a fee structure however, like foxy at then moment I pay nothing for it and if ever you go have to pay for it then I would probably move to something else.
For instance, just send yourself an email with the file attached. It exists outside of your hard drive as well as on it (once read it is retrieved from your ISP but a copy should still be there should you need it).
For now though dropbox is fine and free.
