Sage problem
Permalink Closed

Just trying to do my Mock Exam for AAT Level 2 CA. I had to re-download Sage onto my husbands computer as my laptop has died. Have got part way through the assignment, but have just discovered it won't let me access the Invoicing Module. Why would that be? How can I access it? Arrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have you tried un-installing and reinstalling it- it may be just that it hasn't installed everything first time round- what version is it?

Its version 19. I don't know if its a problem with Windows 8, although I was able to use the same version on my laptop, albeit only the downloaded version - the disc wouldn't load on Windows 8.

OK will try that first, once i've put the kids to bed. Have backed up all my entries so far, so should be nice and quick to do.

Ok So I reinstalled, and the problem rectified itself, however now I have a new problem with the programme. I've got to do a Month End procedure, and every time I do it, the program says error and shuts down.

ETA: I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now!!

Can you change the settings so it doesn't ask you to do month ends -I have used sage for 14 years and never been prompted to papa month end? It might be worth a call to sage ?

It's not a prompt to do a month end, its part of the Mock Exam for the Computerised assessment.
