I am working with a company with a bookkeeper who runs Sage on a Mac from home. Sage is not working properly on her Mac, so I am thinking of changing from Sage to an online accounting package; either Quickbooks or Xero. Problem is, we raise proforma sales invoices on Sage and then send a VAT invoice on receipt. Does anyone know of an online accounts package that will allow proforma sales invoices and not update the VAT until the full VAT invoice is posted to the ledger on receipt of cash?
